Men and Women

A women's guess is much more accurate than a man's certainty--Kipling--Plain tales

Women have there own defenses--they can always give in...

My best friend, a good mother, a lover, the kindest soul I ever knew, I miss her from the bottom of my heart; and boy, am I smarting...a lot of empty spaces and lonely thoughts-- silence sure is loud-- love you Trudy...

You know as well as I do in what way husband and wives generally live together; you know how far the warmth of conjugal affection can withstand the trial of a bad dinner, of a rainy day, or of the least privation which poverty brings with it; you know what freedom a man claims for himself, what slavery he would exact from his wife if he could! And you know also how wives generally obey. Marriage means tyranny on one side and deceit on the other.

So might he perchance have somewhat mollified that imperious bosom, and prepared the way for future terms…

Answers are terribly seductive--the simpler they are the more seductive they become…

Her eyes were on me-- it lasted until it reached the solid part of my heart, the eyes a dark brown, the pupils dilated reached through to me,dark, secret, seductive and clearly defined, like eyes I 'd always dreamed of, a sparkle, lurked in to all my sexual thoughts--was I here was I there, all I could think about was what was coming next…

Everybody has to have someone to tell secrets to---I continued looking into her eyes, into the deep end of a bottomless pool, gathering courage, and thoughts were useless…

And silence can be so very much more louder than noise…

The house has the lonely feeling that hangs over one from which a soul recently has gone…

I had merely worried over one of those states of indecision which make me genuinely ill…

I tried to push the hurt back and close the lid on it, but I could not forget --it was still there…

Not one had understood how much less painful it is to be tired in your body than to be weary in your mind---how much less distressing it is to have an ache in tour bones than to have a hurt in your heart…

She dropped her holy voice, and said what was on her mind…It wasn't a very nice mind but , at least, she was honest…

I did my best to make her see reason…

She got a raw deal, that girl..she gave her heart to him once and for all, and got nothing for it; yet she was at his beck and call as long as he lived…

I had never thought of women using men other than getting what they needed or wanted done--I knew I liked her eyes, her nose, and her body--but I kept feeling for some reason that instead of me being the aggressive one--I had been outclassed and was the one--who had been seduced

Now each year seems shorter than the one before…

Psychic movements can occur only when they have a goal...
